Some excellent wrestling amidst some other more questionable calls.

Another week, another AEW Collision in the books.

This was a strange ol' episode of Collision, for it featured some exceptional in-ring action yet also had several moments that left you scratching your head.

With the Continental Classic continuing to rumble on, the Blackpool Combat Club's Claudio Castagnoli squared off against House of Black's Brody King, Andrade El Idolo took on Daniel Garcia, and Bryan Danielson and Eddie Kingston were on main event duties. As expected due to the names involved, all three of those matches delivered and delivered big.

Elsewhere, Kiera Hogan and Abadon paired off in Collision's standard solo women's bout, Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews battled Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal, the Iron Savages went up against the Kingdom, and there was an impromptu bout between El Hijo del Vikingo and Kip Sabian.

For the most part, it was away from the actual wrestling on display where this week's Collision faltered, with certain familiar issues raising their head yet again, making this a frustrating mixed bag of an episode; so much of it great, so much of it questionable.

With all of that in mind, then, Saturday night's alright for fighting...
