Top Star Injured At AEW Collision Tapings?
Rumblings that this major AEW talent suffered an injury at last night's Collision tapings.
With AEW taping this coming weekend's Collision episode last night from Montreal's Bell Centre, there's been some rumblings that Bryan Danielson suffered an injury in his latest Continental Classic match.
Squaring off against Andrade El Idolo in a Blue League bout, the American Dragon at one point was cut above his left eye. Post-match, the Blackpool Combat Club came out to check on Bryan.
Of course, Danielson suffered a broken orbital bone back in October, and has since taken to wearing an eyepatch to assist his vision as part of the recovery from this injury. And wouldn't you know it, but the Collision cut involved the same eye as the orbital injury. As such, and given how the BCC came to ringside, many have speculated that Bryan may have aggravated that initial issue.
For those concerned that the Clam Digger may be set for another spell on the sidelines, fear not, for Fightful Select is reporting that this was all merely part of an angle and the Collision spot was planned ahead of time.
On top of that, Bryan Danielson is expected to be at tonight's AEW Dynamite from that same Bell Centre as the Continental Classic rages on.
