WWE Legend Pitches "Bonus Time" Match With Rhea Ripley
This female WWE icon thinks her career is on "bonus time"; wants Rhea Ripley.
WWE icon Lita admits she's on "bonus time" as a pro wrestler, which is why she's keen to work as many big time bouts as possible during this current career renaissance.
Lita told Bleacher Report that she viewed her Elimination Chamber 2022 clash vs. Becky Lynch as "a really nice retirement match". Of course, the moonsault-giving pioneer of the women's game didn't hang up her boots after that, and even enjoyed a brief Women's Tag-Team Title run alongside Becks this year.
WWE quickly pivoted towards a Trish Stratus heel turn and full-blown feud with Lynch though - that left Lita as a third wheel, but she knows what she wants to do next. The former 'Team Xtreme' member fancies wrestling none other than Rhea Ripley.
Lita described the reigning SmackDown Women's Champion as "an incredible talent", and said Ripley is somebody who "would really push [her] beyond [her] comfort zone". That's appealing to the legend, because she'd be able to find out just "how far" she could still "take it" in 2023.
Don't be shocked if Lita is pencilled in as a possible opponent for Rhea sometime soon.
