WWE creative isn't the only thing Vince McMahon has lost the final say on in recent weeks.

Per The Ringer founder Bill Simmons, who spoke with Bloomberg Screentime, Netflix, not Vince himself, will have the final say on what makes the final cut of the 78-year-old's upcoming documentary. McMahon will be allowed to look at clips, but won't even have the power to provide notes before the final cut is made.

Simmons and McMahon are both Executive Producers on the project.

Bill added that while the McMahon documentary was originally going to be a docuseries, it has been condensed into a single volume.

Said Simmons (h/t Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online):

“It was a lot of time and it was one where Netflix still has final cut of it. It was a little more old-school in the 30 for 30 model. I think it has a chance to be really special... It has a chance to be really great. I really think it has the chance to be the best one I’ve been involved with. I’ll be interested to see what people think about that one."

We are still awaiting a release date for Netflix's Vince McMahon documentary.
