How Well Do You Remember L.A. Noire?
Don't even think about cheating (you know how Phelps gets).
In 2011, Rockstar Games and Team Bondi released the much anticipated detective game, L.A. Noire. The game was hyped due to its first time use of MotionScan technology, integrating its state-of-the-art facial animation into the game's signature interrogation scenes.
You play as detective Cole Phelps (portrayed by Aaron Staton), and work your way through the ranks of the Los Angeles Police Department. Along the way you attempt to solve a number of short and long running cases with different partners, depending on which desk you have been assigned to.
Much like other Rockstar releases, L.A. Noire has its fair share of action, absorbing you in such events involving shootouts, car chases and hand-to-hand combat. However, the big difference this time is that you are on the other side of the law, so even the odd scratch here and there can cost you your five star case rating dearly.
This open world single-player title was initially released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, before becoming available on Microsoft Windows soon after and additional consoles six years later.
There's arson, murder, narcotics, victims and plenty of suspects. But how much can you remember about this neo-noir adventure?
