Former WWE SmackDown Star Officially Jumps To Raw
Longtime tag team wrestler finally gets chance to shine as singles star.
When Jey Uso "quit" WWE last month, no one expected him to disappear forever, or even necessarily for several months.
But his sabbatical from the company ended Saturday after just three weeks when it was announced that the former Bloodline member was joining Monday Night Raw.
Cody Rhodes broke the news at Payback during an appearance on the Grayson Waller Effect, saying he cashed in all his favors and pulled strings to get Uso on the red brand after Jey walked out on the August 11 episode of SmackDown.
Jey soaked in the cheers, but he didn't get a chance to say anything before Waller cut into him, earning a superkick in the process.
JEY USO IS BACK!

Jey Uso walked out in the aftermath of SummerSlam loss to Roman Reigns when twin brother Jimmy Uso turned on him and cost him the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Jey leveled Jimmy with a superkick on SmackDown before declaring that he was out of the Bloodline, out of SmackDown and out of WWE. The company website quietly moved him to their alumni section as a result.
Moving Jey to Raw will allow him to have some fresh matches and have the opportunity to blossom as a singles star away from the Bloodline drama. Plus, it separates the Usos to potentially space things out until WrestleMania season if WWE is intent on a brother-versus-brother match.
