Everything You Need To Know About Universal Orlando Resort's Halloween Horror Nights 2023

If you thought you could escape the chills of Halloween Horror Nights in the streets think again.

HHN takes over the whole of Universal Studios Florida, creating five Scare Zones that will bring the screams. Dr. Oddfellow who is the confirmed icon of this year's event has had a hand in all the Scare Zones one way or another...

Dr. Oddfellow's Collection of Horror

As you enter the park you'll be greeted by Dr. Oddfellow's unusual collection of creatures. This Scare Zone will give you a glimpse of the horrors that are in store. Dr. Oddfellow is "promising immortality for those who dare to enter". We'll see how the immortal being manages to extract souls with "blood...elixirs" to offer us to join him in everlasting life. The Discover Universal podcast gave a hint that this area will also feature characters that appear in the rest of the event.

Dark Zodiac

The Dark Zodiac has taken over the Hollywood section of the park. Dr. Oddfellow has corrupted the zodiac to help become immortal. "Twisted versions" of the zodiac and even tarot will all be present in the Scare Zone, ready for you to spot the dark version of yours.

Jungle of Doom: Expedition Horror

The Central Park area of the park is set to be transformed into the Jungle of Doom: Expedition Horror. It's the 1920's features Dr. Oddfellows menagerie of experimental creatures. According to the Discover Universal podcast, this is the place where Dr. Oddfellow has finally found his powers. Along with a glowing skull, he twists the creatures he finds.

Shipyard 32: Horrors Unhinged

Heading into the San Francisco area, here we journey to the 1940s and to a loading dock where Dr. Oddfellow has shipped his monstrous creatures. Unfortunately for you, these beings have managed to make their escape. Universal's creative team have said that this area will contain monsters from HHN's past but also some brand new ones. You also should keep a look out for Dr. Oddfellow appearing in a different form, he'll be noticeable by the scar on his face.

Vamp ’69: Summer of Blood

The vampires have returned to the New York area of the park, this time it's the summer of 1969. Dr. Oddfellow has sent a horde of vampires to Musicfest 69 to cause havoc. Following on from the Vamp 55 and Vamp 85, this Scare Zone might well feature some vampire characters from past events.
