AEW is unlikely to hold an episode of Collision the week of the upcoming Worlds End pay-per-view.

This is per Mat Men's Andrew Zarian, who tweeted on Wednesday:

As of today, I’m hearing AEW won’t be airing Collision the week of the Worlds End PPV.

AEW is set for Long Island, New York's Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, 30 December. This would typically clash with Collision, which also airs on a Saturday night - and had raised questions over how AEW would handle the situation.

AEW is yet to formally announce anything regarding the Collision episode that would typically have taken place on the 30th.

Worlds End is to be AEW's final pay-per-view of 2023, and will complete a run of five straight months of consecutive supercards. The company has Saturday 18 November's Full Gear 2023 to get through before then, which is to be headlined by World Champion MJF defending against belt thief 'Switchblade' Jay White.

Tony Khan's company has long been rumoured to be heading towards hosting twelve pay-per-views a year, presumably once a month. The current schedule appears to indicate this, though the company hasn't announced a supercard for January 2024.
