7. Mr X. Never De-Spawns - Resident Evil 2 Remake

It’s pretty common knowledge by this point that antagonist Lisa from P.T. ties herself to your character and always hangs out behind you even when you can’t see her.

If you thought you could leave the nightmare fuel behind by simply not playing P.T., though, you’d be sorely mistaken because Resident Evil 2 Remake does a similar thing. The YouTube show Boundary Break discovered that the hulking tyrant with a snazzy hat, Mr. X, never actually despawns and he is always looking for you. Unlocking the camera revealed that Mr. X is always walking around the map trying to spot you even if he’s super far away in actuality.

You’d expect he only spawns up near you or he simply doesn’t exist but knowing he’s just roaming the halls the whole time is unnerving to say the least.

There are absolutely times he’s scripted to spawn or despawn but otherwise we now know that The T-00’s menacing stalking never actually stops, even when the tyrant is nowhere to be seen, so that’s something you probably never wanted to know.
