8 Ups & 1 Down For AEW Collision (Nov 4 - Results & Review)

Another weekend, another episode of AEW Collision in the books.

The 21st episode of AEW's Saturday show, this week's show took place from Wichita's Intrust Bank Arena and featured plenty of solid, if not spectacular pro wrestling action.

In the main event, La Facción Ingobernable made their return to the ring as they teamed with FTR to take on the Gates of Agony and AEW Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks & Big Bill. While that in itself was a solid show-closer for Collision, the episode started off with a fantastic bang as long-time rivals AR Fox and Swerve Strickland locked horns once again.

Elsewhere, there was a bunch of hype surrounding the Acclaimed and Daddy Ass' 69 Day Celebration party, where the AEW Trios Champions marked the 69th day of their reign with those titles. Then, there were Collision debuts for Lance Archer and Mark Briscoe, with Archer finding himself with some new company under the stewardship of Jake Roberts.

Rounding out the in-ring action, Willow Nightingale and Emi Sakura impressed, Briscoe found himself in six-man competition, the Kingdom got a squash match, and the AEW Trios Champs themselves ended up in an impromptu contest against the ever-charismatic Dalton Castle and his Boys.

All in all, this was an AEW Collision that, while not amazing from top-to-bottom, featured very little that was actually bad. Though, the one bit that was bad, was utterly awful. At least for your writer's tastes.

With all of that in mind, then, Saturday night's alright for fighting...
