10 Ways CM Punk Will Just Make WWE BETTER
9. Additional Star Power
You can never have enough major stars in your wrestling promotion. In the case of WWE, with Roman Reigns on a part-time schedule that's seen him - as of this writing - wrestle just seven televised matches in 2023, with Brock Lesnar on his usual Brock Lesnar schedule, and with John Cena seemingly on the cusp of calling time on his in-ring career, having someone as notable as CM Punk join the fray is only a positive in terms of star power.
Of course, it's not as if Punk is going to be competing on a weekly basis, and it remains to be seen just how active his own schedule will be, but having a new addition with such name value is fantastic for WWE. If he's not a full-time talent, having the Second City Saint available even just as a fleeting presence can help fill a void when Roman's on hiatus or Brock's decided to go hunting.
WWE has a lot of top stars and main event players, but who realistically has as much name value or semblance of mainstream notoriety as CM Punk? Figures such as Cody Rhodes, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns all bring plenty to the table in this regard, yet none of them bring as much to that table as CM Punk does.
